BOTOX/DYSPORT
BOTOX® Cosmetic is an FDA approved injectable treatment for moderate to severe frown lines. Treatment consists of a few tiny injections into the muscles that cause wrinkling and creasing of the skin. Improvement can be seen in as little as three days, with maximum effect being seen in about two weeks. Results last 3 to 4 months, on average.

DYSPORT® is a new competitor to Botox, working in the same way. The most significant difference is in the price: Dysport is less expensive than Botox. We have been offering the Dysport option to our patients with very satisfactory results.

Rejuvenation Medispa is a participating member of the Botox Physician's Network. At Rejuvenation, Botox and Dysport injections are performed only by an experienced, licensed and certified physician.

DERMAL FILLERS
Dermal fillers are a minimally invasive procedure with little or no recovery time, costing much less than surgery and with minimal risks. Dermal fillers have become an increasingly popular way to minimize the signs of aging. When injected into fine lines and wrinkles of the face, the creases and lines are minimized or erased. The lips may also be enhanced with dermal fillers, causing them to look fuller and younger. Some types of scarring can also be corrected with dermal fillers.

At Rejuvenation Medispa, we use Juvederm Ultra and Juvederm Ultra Plus. As with our Botox injections, treatment is done only by an experienced, licensed and certified physician. Results are immediate and are FDA approved to last up to one year. Juvederm provides outstanding results for the treatment of "smile lines" around the mouth and vertical lines on the upper lip as well as nasolabial folds, or the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the lips. Juvederm may also be used to enhance the fullness and shape of the lips.

FACIAL PEELS
We offer Vitalize and Illuminize skin peels for the treatment of age, sun or acne-damaged skin. Our peels are safe for even the darkest skin types. The treatments are quick and comfortable, and can even be done during a lunch hour. Choose the peel that's right for you.

VITALIZE PEEL - Helps fight the effects of time, sun damage, and environmental assaults. This powerful yet non-damaging peel can take years off aging skin.

Recommended uses: Anti aging skin treatment, sun damaged skin treatment, acne prone skin.


ILLUMINIZE PEEL - This non-invasive very superficial chemical peel utilizes a novel approach to chemical peeling with a newer generation of alpha-hydroxy acids (mandelic acid and malic acid) in combination with phytic acid and commonly used peeling agents (salicylic acid and resorcinol) to maximize skin rejuvenating effects with low irritation.

Recommended uses: Sun damaged skin treatment, anti aging skin treatment.

MICRODERMABRASION
We provide two levels of microdermabrasion:

LEVEL 1- microdermabrasion is a treatment suitable for all skin types to improve the texture, tone, and appearance of the skin. It reduces fine wrinkling, acne, open pores, scars and pigmentation. Microdermabrasion is a safe, fast, effective way to improve the appearance of dry, oily, dull, congested and blemished skin. Using abrasive crystals in a vacuum delivery system, the topmost layer of skin is sanded away to remove dead, flaking skin cells. The treatment stimulates the production of collagen and new, healthy skin cells. At Rejuvenation Medispa we use physician grade equipment to provide the most effective, aggressive treatment available. This state of the art technology, coupled with our pharmaceutical grade skin care products, results in significant improvement in your skin’s appearance. Acne scars become less obvious, open pores, age spots and fine lines are reduced or erased, and skin feels softer and smoother with a younger-looking, healthy glow. Level I microdermabrasion is also useful as a pre-treatment for further laser treatments of the skin. Microdermabrasion treatments are appropriate for all areas of the body.

LEVEL 2- or Medical Microdermabrasion, is a more aggressive treatment suitable for acne, melasma, heavily pigmented spots, fine wrinkling, severely sun-damaged and aging skin. We use a unique dermabrasion technique that combines a jet of fine micro crystals, which are vacuumed across the skin removing the dead and damaged skincells, with a stair-step series of chemical peels, to help reverse excessive sun or smoking damage to the skin. The application of a post-treatment enzymatic-oxygen spray speeds healing time, giving excellent results. A series of 5 treatments in 5 weeks results in increased production of collagen and elastin, evening of skin tone, and the reduction or elimination of pigmentation and fine wrinkling. Medical microdermabrasion is also useful in the reduction of stretch marks, scars, hyperpigmentation, actinic keratosis and facial or body peeling.

SKIN TIGHTENING TREATMENTS

The Cutera Titan® gives you an all-natural option to enhance skin tone. Titan uses infrared light energy to heat the dermis deep beneath your skin's surface. Without surgery, recovery time, or injections, Titan is an ideal solution for your face, abdomen, arms and more.

The Titan uses a safe infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin's surface. During the procedure, the skin's surface (epidermis) is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. Since the Titan procedure heats tissue under the skin's surface, patients of any skin type or age can be treated, including tanned skin.

Immediately following the treatment, there may be some redness and mild swelling in the treated area. Both should dissipate within a few hours. With each Titan pulse you will feel a brief heating sensation. Some patients are more comfortable taking a mild pain reliever beforehand. Many patients are comfortable without any medication. Although a single treatment produces very good results for many patients, it is quite common for patients to have two or three treatments over a few months. The physician will advise you as to the number and frequency of treatments recommended for optimal results.

AIR-BRUSH TANS
Our air-brush tan provides a beautiful, natural looking color. Because the tanning solution is applied by hand with an air-brush, you don't have to worry about runs, spots, streaks or uneven color. The solution reacts with the amino acids in your skin to turn you a natural looking color for your skin type- you'll never be orange or yellow. Made from botanicals, the tan is completely safe, and much healthier for your skin than tanning beds or the sun.

Our tans are very popular for weddings, proms, vacations and other special events. On average, the tans last 5 - 10 days, and fade out gradually and evenly, just like a real tan. For special occasions, we recommend coming in one or two days before the event.
PREPARATION TIPS:
DO exfoliate your skin the night before, not the day of your tan. Use a body scrub that does not contain oil.
DON'T apply lotion until 8 hours after receiving your tan.
DO wear loose dark clothing to avoid the harmless color guide temporarily marking clothes.
(The bronzer in our formula only stains nylon and lycra.)
DO protect your nails with nail polish. Acrylic nails are not affected.
DO shave or wax at least 8 hours before your tanning appointment.
DON'T wear soft contact lenses during your appointment to avoid eye irritation.
DON'T sit directly on leather or light fabric after your session.
DON'T sweat or get wet for 8 hours following your tanning session.
